1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Bedrok Services Pty Ltd (ABN: 19 697 470 661) ("Bedrok Services," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information through the website pestnow.com.au (the "Website").
We are an Australian company and the entity responsible for compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), as amended by the 2026 privacy reforms.
"Personal information" means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable. Following the 2026 reforms, this includes technical data such as IP addresses and device identifiers.
By using this Website, submitting an enquiry, or initiating a call through this Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Who We Are: Our Structure and Role
Bedrok Services Pty Ltd operates pestnow.com.au as a lead-generation and referral website connecting consumers with independent, third-party pest control service providers ("Local Operators").
Bedrok Services acts as a reseller and referral intermediary only. All technical services, including advertising, campaign execution, lead-generation systems, call routing, platform infrastructure, and media buying, are performed by Bedrok Media LLC ("Bedrok Media"), a company incorporated in the United States, which owns all underlying intellectual property and technology.
This two-entity structure is important for understanding how your data is handled:
Bedrok Services Pty Ltd (Australia): The APP entity and primary data controller. We are responsible for your privacy rights, handling complaints, and compliance with Australian law. We are the entity you interact with.
Bedrok Media LLC (United States): Owns all intellectual property and technology and performs all technical backend services. Bedrok Media receives your personal information from us solely for the purpose of delivering these services, under contractual obligations requiring it to handle data in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
3. What Information We Collect
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to connect you with a suitable Local Operator. This includes:
Enquiry data: Your name, phone number, property address or approximate location, and description of your pest control needs.
Call data: Audio recordings of calls made through numbers displayed on this Website (where you have consented), together with call metadata including phone number, call duration, timestamps, and call outcome.
Technical data: Device type, browser information, IP address, and usage timestamps.
We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial, religious, or financial information) unless you voluntarily disclose it in the course of describing your pest control needs. Any such information is used only for service fulfilment and is not shared beyond what is necessary for that purpose.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.
4. How We Collect Your Information
We collect your personal information:
Directly from you when you submit an enquiry form, tap a call button, or dial a number displayed on this Website.
Automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you browse the Website (see Section 10).
We do not purchase personal information from third-party data brokers or collect information about you from sources unrelated to your pest control enquiry.
5. How We Use Your Information
By using this Website, submitting an enquiry, or initiating a call, you provide express consent under APP 3 for us to use your personal information to:
Connect you with suitable Local Operators by sharing your enquiry and contact details with them.
Record, review, and analyse calls for lead qualification, quality assurance, fraud prevention, billing verification, and service improvement.
Disclose your information to Bedrok Media in the United States for the technical delivery of lead generation and call routing services (see Section 7).
Contact you about your pest control enquiry via phone, SMS, or email.
Send you marketing communications about related services or offers, where you have separately consented to this (you can withdraw this consent at any time without affecting your original service request).
We will not use your personal information for an unrelated secondary purpose without your consent, unless an exception under the APPs applies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent use or marketing.
6. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose your personal information to:
Local Operators: Independent pest control service providers in your area, for the purpose of fulfilling your service request.
Bedrok Media: For all technical backend services including lead generation, call routing, platform operation, and campaign execution, under contractual obligations requiring APP-equivalent protections.
Authorised vendors and personnel: Including those located in the United States, the Philippines, and other jurisdictions where Bedrok Media and its service providers operate, under confidentiality obligations.
Government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement: Where required or authorised by Australian law.
A successor entity: In connection with a sale, merger, or restructure of our business, with appropriate privacy protections in place.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Overseas Disclosure (APP 8)
All leads, personal information, call recordings, and call metadata collected through this Website are disclosed to and processed by Bedrok Media in the United States. Your information may also be processed by authorised vendors or personnel in the Philippines and other jurisdictions where Bedrok Media's service providers operate.

By using this Website and providing your personal information, you acknowledge and consent to these overseas disclosures. Overseas recipients may be subject to foreign laws (for example, US legal process) that differ from Australian law. Where you provide express, informed consent under APP 8.2(b), section 16C of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) will not apply to those disclosures.
If you do not consent to your personal information being disclosed overseas, do not submit personal information through this Website.

After the applicable retention period, information is securely deleted or de-identified. We review retained data regularly and delete it when it is no longer required.
9. How We Protect Your Information
